Today our hearts are heavy as we remember and honor our dear friend Clarence Beetle McGeehan.

After a tragic accident, we lost a longtime friend, and our hearts are broken. Today is his Life Celebration, and here at La Dolce Casa we are preparing a special dinner to honor his memory and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.

It is a very sad and emotional day, but we are honored to be part of this moment and to help create a gathering that his family and loved ones will remember forever.

Our prayers, thoughts, and deepest sympathy go out to his family. Clarence, you will always remain in our hearts, and we will never forget the memories and friendship you gave us.🙏

As many of you know, Christmas is not just another holiday for us. It is a passion, a dream, and something that touches our hearts in a very special way.

At the end of August, we will begin taking down our summer decorations and start preparing for the most magical time of the year. For us, Christmas doesn't happen overnight. It takes nearly three months of planning, building, decorating, and countless hours of love to bring our vision to life.

This year marks our fifth year of creating Christmas at La Dolce Casa, and we truly believe it will be our most spectacular and emotional display yet.

This year's theme is called The Enchanted Christmas Forest, and at its heart is La Scala dei Sogni – The Stairway of Dreams.

Our goal is to create more than beautiful decorations. We want to create a place where families can slow down, smile, dream, and make memories together. We want every guest to feel wonder, joy, peace, and the warmth of Christmas from the moment they arrive.

As you walk through our enchanted forest, you'll discover a world filled with sparkling lights, breathtaking displays, and unforgettable moments.

Every step brings you closer to the magic of Christmas… and every light tells a story.

For me personally, Christmas is the most beautiful celebration of the entire year. I love every holiday, but Christmas is the one that truly touches my heart.

The reason is simple.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is a time to remember the greatest gift ever given to the world. It is a season of faith, hope, love, peace, and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our King.

That is the true meaning behind everything we create.

Our decorations are not just lights and ornaments—they are our way of sharing the joy, hope, and love that Christmas represents.

We cannot wait to share this dream with all of you.

Those who have followed me for years know that I often speak about my parents. I don’t do it out of habit, but because they represent the most precious treasure of my life.

If I am the man I am today, it is thanks to them—thanks to the sacrifices they made, the things they went without, and the infinite love with which they raised my siblings and me. They worked hard without ever complaining, always putting their children first. My father endured years of separation and sacrifice to build a better future for our family, while my mother was always the heart of our home; with her gentleness, strength, and unconditional love, she taught us the true meaning of family.

Today, the roles are slowly reversing. The people who once held my hand and made me feel safe now need my hand to hold onto. And every time I take them to the doctor, sit beside them, or help them with even the simplest tasks, I do not feel the burden of a duty. Instead, I feel the greatest privilege life could offer me: the chance to give back at least a small part of the love I received.

Yet, alongside this privilege, a fear grows—a silent fear I carry with me every day. The fear of watching them become increasingly frail. The fear that time is moving too fast. The fear that, one day, I will no longer be able to hear their voices, hold their hands, or receive one of their hugs.

It is a heartbreaking thought, because no one is ever truly ready to lose their parents. Even though we know it is part of life, our hearts can never prepare for that moment.

That is why I try to live every moment with them as if it were a gift. Every smile, every shared meal, every conversation, every photograph, and every memory is a piece of life that I will cherish in my heart forever. If I could leave you with one message, it would be this: don’t wait until tomorrow to tell your parents how much you love them. Hug them tighter. Call them more often. Spend time with them. Create memories, because time is the one thing we cannot stop.

One day, we will realize that those memories are the most precious gift they have left us. And then we will understand that a mother’s and father’s love never ends; it lives on within us—in every choice, every smile, and every beat of our hearts.

As long as I am lucky enough to have them by my side, I will continue to love them with all my heart. And every day, I will thank God for the greatest gift He has ever given me: being able to still call them... Mom and Dad.🙏❤️❤️

Every morning, when I walk into La Dolce Casa and smell the fresh bread baking, I know it's the start of another beautiful day.

And my breakfast is always the same: a slice of warm bread with our Alfie's Choice Extra Virgin Olive Oil, imported directly from Sicily.

As many of you already know, this has always been my favorite breakfast. The olive oil is smooth, light, full of flavor, and made with the highest quality. Every bite reminds me of the authentic taste of my homeland.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support on Facebook. Your kindness, encouragement, and loyalty mean more to me than words can say. Without you, none of this would be possible.
