KEEP THEM COOL · KEEP THEM DAMP · KEEP THEM ALIVE

Want your crawfish fresh and lively? Follow these simple steps:

✅ DO THIS:

* Keep crawfish cool (36°F–46°F) — use ice, but do NOT freeze
* Place a wet towel or burlap over them to keep moisture
* Keep the drain open — let water flow out, allow airflow
* Store in a cool, shaded area (no sun, no wind)
* Use a cooler raised off the ground (better airflow)
* Check them every few hours if storing long

❌ DON’T DO THIS:

* ❌ Do NOT soak them in water (they will drown)
* ❌ Do NOT seal the cooler airtight
* ❌ Do NOT stack too high (they can get crushed)
* ❌ Do NOT use too much ice (temperature shock kills them)

⭐ PRO TIP:

Handle crawfish gently — treat them like eggs!

👉 Proper storage = Live crawfish = Better boil
