YOU'RE INVITED! Join us as we celebrate Florida's Emancipation Day as well as the rich and diverse history that exists in Tallahassee at the Inaugural Soul of Southside Arts & Humanities Festival. This FREE 3-day event located at Anita Favors Thompson Plaza, from May 20 to May 22, was developed to offer in-person and virtual experiences that blend education and entertainment while exploring the historical influence of Southside and its residents.
While attending the Soul of Southside Festival, be prepared to immerse yourself in neighborhood history tours, a Youth Entrepreneurship Expo + Pitch Competition, food trucks, and vendors. During this 3-day street festival, come out to experience diverse entertainment from local artists that culminates on Saturday evening with musical headliners such as The Hamiltones, Royce Lovett, and Tallahassee Nights Live.
