The final chapter. Grayson closed out our time at Goodies as the lead runner. Fittingly, he ended it where John started back in ‘92. But most importantly, it’s where Grayson met who came to work at Goodies last summer, once again proving that all this time, it was really just about the relationships. A perfect cap off to 30 years of John priding himself on being something of a matchmaker. Goodies lives on through the relationships built there, and that’s a worthy legacy.

These two…Noah had already finished his time working here at Goodies but he happened to pop by one day for lunch when he saw working the register. He asked her if he could give her a ride to that evening and the rest is history, as they say. Caroline’s note on the famous wall says it all.

Couldn’t close it down without a few more posts of our very favorite employees. Our kids. They were born and raised in this business, started wiping down the tables at a very young age, and came to work for Goodies as soon as they were legally old enough. Olivia’s husband, Cam Curry worked for Goodies in high school and married on 12.31.23. We’ve realized over this past month that Goodies has been so much more than just making a living and more about the relationships which have been built here. And this is one of our favorites. Cam + Liv forever ❤️
