Well maybe the big day has finally come at last. Moving has been a total nightmare. As would be my luck, I chose the wrong moving company. I'm letting everyone here know this, so they won't make the same mistake I did. I chose a company called top movers incorporated, because they seemed like they were going to be the best deal. As I said, total nightmare. My scheduled pickup was supposed to be saturday, July 31st. According to my coordinator, it would be around 10:00 in the morning. By 11:30, when I hadn't heard from them, I called the company, who told me to call dispatch. They said the truck was an hour out. I waited an hour and a half, and still no truck. I called dispatch back, and again they told me it was an hour out. At 2:00, I called again. They said that they probably wouldn't be there till 5:00. At 5:00 they called me to say they would not be showing up until the next day at 10:00. Okay, now we're into sunday, August 1st. 10:00 comes, no truck. I call them, and again they tell me it's an hour out. Now mind you, I am sitting here, with a completely packed up house. At this point, living out of boxes. 1:00, still no truck. I have called them several times, and they keep telling me that the truck is an hour out. At 4:00, the truck shows up, only to tell us that they don't have any room on their truck for all of our stuff. I let them know that we were supposed to have three workers to do this job, and they sent a man and a woman. Neither of which were very big. They said they were going to try to get some help, so they went out to the truck to make a few phone calls. They left. Meanwhile, I am still sitting here, living out of boxes. The next day I called the company back, and got the owner. All I know, is his name is David. He tells me they have nothing to be sorry for. Don't forget, I have already paid a deposit of $610. He says he would see what he could do about getting a truck, and I say please call me back. No call comes. So I call another company, and start from scratch. I was very lucky that griner I had an opening for today, which is wednesday, August 4th. I have been living out of boxes now for 4 days. They have such a bad rating on the better Business bureau website, that I wish I would have checked it out first.
