When we think about the story of Maria Maria, you are such a big part of it.

We’ll never forget those two weeks back in 2018, before we ever opened our doors, when you, Mom, and I spent countless hours in my kitchen developing the recipes that would become the food we serve today.

You and your husband made an incredible sacrifice by leaving Alabama, your home, your friends, and everything you knew to bring your family here and help us build this restaurant. That sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thank you for your hard work, your commitment, and for always showing up even when you don’t feel your best. Thank you for your continuous prayers 🙏 for us, for this restaurant, and for every person who sits at our tables.

And thank you for taking care of me and feeding me during those first four years when I wasn’t taking a paycheck. ❤️

Maria Maria has taken a lot of sacrifice from all of us, but we’re so grateful we’ve gotten to share this journey together.
