As hard as it was saying goodbye to two amazing bartenders recently, we’re so excited to welcome a new face behind the bar, Genie!
Genie has already brought so much warmth, creativity, and personality to the team. She’s an incredible bartender, artist, and someone we’re so happy to have as part of Bar 1903.
1.) Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a bartender and an artist, I moved here from the Metro-Atlanta area 3 years ago.
2.) How long have you been working at Bar 1903?
I started almost two months ago, the team has been very helpful and welcoming!
3). What is your favorite dish on the current menu?
The Tennessee Date Night! I love a flatbread. Mushroom+bacon+caramelized onions is always a win in my book.
4). Whats your favorite hobby outside of work?
I am in a local rock band called The Queen High Straight. I sing and play the synthesizer. 🎹 🎶
5). Why did you choose to pursue a job in this industry?
I love curating experiences for guests, especially if it means I get to educate about alcohol in the process! I love how food and beverage bring people together.
6). What is a little known or fun fact about yourself?
I love historic buildings! This is the second one I have worked in. The first was the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, the city’s longest-running independent cinema.
