The Press Cafe will be closed Friday, June 19th in honor of Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💚

Juneteenth marks June 19th, 1865 as the day when the last group of enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas were notified of their freedom -- over 2 years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. A federal holiday since 2021, Juneteenth serves to celebrate the history, culture, and resilience of the black community across America.

Don't forget to treat yourself to one of Tallahassee's many incredible black-owned restaurants today! 🍽👩🏾‍🍳

We will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22nd.
