Our Blue Steele community has been incredibly kind over the past months — checking in, asking about Levi, and holding our family close in so many quiet ways. We wanted to share an update now that we finally have some good news.

Levi was matched with a donor and underwent a bone marrow transplant, and today marks Day +100 post-transplant — a milestone that means a great deal to our family. Because he’s reached this point and passed enough milestones, Levi will soon be cleared to travel back home.

While he continues to recover, Levi will still need frequent back-and-forth trips multiple times a month for close follow-up care. Even so, being able to begin preparing for home brings a sense of comfort and grounding after a long season away.

For those who have asked how to help as we prepare for the long travel days ahead, we’ve shared an updated list below with items that would help make those trips a little easier.
