We will be wholesale only until we figure out a way to increase production.
Our brick and mortar project suffered due to Bowers Plumbing leaving us with an incomplete project. We have another production facility but are currently unable to add clients.

I chose Bowers despite them not having the lowest bid on my project, because I thought I could expect professional and timely work. It turned into a two day project rather than one and they charged me extra, I was understanding and went along with it. I was later told by a bowers plumber that the plumber who did the work was not yet licensed and is no longer with the company. I have been told by other professionals the work was not done correctly and have been told by the city that they installed the wrong size grease trap. When Bowers tried to push the work through city permitting it has been denied—now after waiting two years my project is still not finished and Bowers has all but abandoned it. Two years of paying on a commercial lease for a space I couldn’t use because of their failure to follow through. I was far too patient throughout the whole process, perhaps the squeaky wheel does get the grease? At this point my experience will have to be a cautionary tale for other small businesses.

UPCOMING EVENT: Elephant in the Room- Racial Equity Conversations for the Workplace (April 12th, 6:00-7:30pm in person at Obscura Teahouse)

Spaceworks Alum Christina Vega with Blue Cactus Press brings us together with author and owner of Rebel Firm, Philip Jacobs. Philip will lead a discussion around his new book Elephant in the Room: A business parable about race and equity conversations in the workplace.

Philip “Sharp Skills” Jacobs inspires and motivates organizations, large and small, to push past their comfort zones in conversations about race, and gives them effective strategies and tools to advance racial equity in their workplaces. He was instrumental in getting people and organizations to “talk about race” before that concept became popular (after the murder of George Floyd). Philip is the author of Elephant in the Room: A business parable about race and equity conversations in the workplace. He is an Inglewood, CA native who now lives in Tacoma, WA.

This is a free event open to the community! Register to attend HERE: https://www.spaceworkstacoma.com/event/elephant-in-the-room-racial-equity-conversations-for-the-workplace/

Phoenix Villiage “Mi Xiang” Shui Xian Oolong Tea. A lovely spring harvest from the Phoenix Village in Wu Yi mountain area. Shui Xian is an older tea varietal with a bolder taste. The plants are around 60 years old and left to grow naturally. This is a spring harvest with medium oxidation and “honey aroma” taste. Hints of brown sugar with a thick liquor.
