On September 11th, over 6,000 passengers were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland. The people of Gander opened their hearts and homes to these stranded strangers without hesitation.

Their act of kindness and generosity inspired Dan & Teresa Seeley, owners of The C***r Mill & The Clerk's House, to do what they do best.

In 2003, with their three children and 35 volunteers in tow, Dan and Teresa traveled to Gander to feed the town as a way to say thank you.

The selflessness of the people of Gander also inspired the musical Come From Away, which is now showing at Syracuse Stage.

Dan & Teresa had the opportunity to talk to Alyssa Crespo on the Syracuse (On)Stage podcast to tell their story.
