BIG NEWS!!!
I want to thank ALL of you guys for your support, kindness, and creativity throughout this journey. It truly means SO MUCH to me. But it’s time for me to stick my neck out and have a go at this.
The future for Get Smashed is clear. No more detours. No more stops along the way. All of the time & energy I have been putting into making burgers for the last three months is being shifted into getting the James Street location open ASAP.
Admittedly, my perfectionism has been getting in the way of progress. I had this grand vision of what I wanted the restaurant to look like before I turned on the grills and opened the doors to the public. But the reality of the situation is the doors need to be open and we need to be feeding you. And I can focus on making my additional dreams a reality once we’re up and running.
I want to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to my inner circle that have been instrumental in helping me through this journey, helping me make this decision - and really, helping me come to my senses. I hope someday I can repay the favor!
