Hey everyone, just wanted to give you an update! We are hoping to open sometime in May, but with some of the changes that we are making we can’t provide an exact date yet. We are currently working on a new menu as well as some necessary repairs to the building so that we can keep the party going. We’ll be expanding our team, and posting available positions so if you or anybody you may know needs work feel free to share! We will continue to keep you posted on our opening date and the fun updates we are making. Thank you everyone for all the support it’s greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to seeing you this summer season!

To our neighbors South of us on Harkless Dr., feel free to use The Frog parking lot with the upcoming road closure Monday between us and State Road 13.

Move a vehicle Sunday night as to not get stuck in the mess.

The Frog Tavern and SS Lillypad have been purchased Wednesday night, with the new buyers looking forward to continue the rich tradition of serving the Syracuse/Lake Wawasee community. More details to come in the future.

The Frog will close for a couple of weeks after Sunday's corned beef and cabbage lunch special to hit some repairs, with plans to open soon there after.

Help empty the shelves this weekend with a shamrock shakedown featuring DJ Drew.

On a personal note, it has been an amazing 13 year run, getting to meet amazing people and build outstanding friendships along the way.

After much soul searching and prayers it is time to pass the torch And give The Frog some fresh eyes and mindset as it nears 100 years of serving the residents and guests of Syracuse.

Health setbacks over the last few years make it difficult to give it and the guests the undivided attention they deserve and keep The Frog one of Lake Wawasee’s favorite destinations.

The friendships of co-workers and guests, along with the experiences and the stories will be treasured for a life time and all the blood, sweat, tears, and sacrifices have enriched my life in so many ways and cannot wait to see The Frog peak in potential.

While there have been countless interest in potential buyers while weighing on a decision, my friends at Metzgers felt the auction route would be the quickest transition period to maximize the summer busy season potential. It is still business as usual, booking boats and bands. As one who cannot sit still long, transition help will available to keep things fluid as possible.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for 20 great years, 13 as owner, of The Frog and Lillypad.

Join Megan and Meghan who are serving you all night. Come grab a bite to eat with our surf and turf petite filet and shrimp linguine dinner special with cheesecake dessert for $25.

Size Matters takes stage at 9:30 pm and rocks it into the New Year. Complementary champagne toast and snacks at midnight.
