If you’ve been to Alto at all in the last six years, then you’ve most certainly seen Alex at the bar reading, waxing philosophically, or just being whimsical.

We try to take our food and drinks seriously here, but what we cherish most is being a place for the people in our neighborhood. The people who sit at the bar, hang around a little too long, tell stories, make us laugh, and eventually become part of the fabric of this place.

Our neighborhood is down one more goofball now. Come buy him his last old fashioned or kids meal (iykyk). Good luck in D.C. Alex!
