Today marks 10 years clean something I never thought I’d see the sight of 🙏🏼 My journey has been the farthest thing from easy but every hardship, every time I was tested, every downfall, every betrayal, every setback made me a stronger , better and smarter version of myself. As stressful as it may be sometimes, I’m so grateful to wake up to the life I have built every morning. I’m grateful for the beautiful friendships I’ve made along the way, I’m grateful for all the people who support me and cheer me on from the back. I’m grateful for the people who hate on me as well you just push me harder. Most importantly I’m so grateful for taking a chance in a field I knew nothing about, the little 49 seat diner that was just a little dot on the map to today building the breakfast empire I have built and the journeys just begun! I’m thankful for my staff that have become family, some that have been with me since day one. Have been through all the highs and lows with me and never turned their backs. I wouldn’t be where I am today without each one of them throughout this journey. I’m grateful to be able to be the boss I always dreamed of having, to help be a mentor, to be able to help them achieve their goals and be someone their proud to work for 🙏🏼 My greatest achievement is the little girl who calls me dad, the reason I never give up. To anyone struggling day 1 is better than day none, your current path does not define your final one. Let this be a testament that anything in life is possible if you can dream big and take chances. Anyone who is on the wrong path it’s never too late to change course and I will help anyone in anyway I can to see the light on the other side. I also want to thank all the people who have come in over the years and told me my story has helped them keep on the right path, that I inspire them to do better, to the families I’ve got to sit down with and talk too, to the people who support me in the name of a lost loved one. May they all truly RIP 🙏🏼 I cherish each and every conversation over these years and I remember them all. I just want to again say thank you for everyone who supports me and cheers to another 10 years 🙏🏼
