"You're not a cafe, you're a sushi place!"

In 2004, we planned on opening an Amer-Asian eatery that highlighted salads with crumbly bleu cheese. But.....our stove/oven broke down on opening day that limited our American options and the bleu cheese crumbles - well, folks didn't love it as much as we did. So we leaned into the Asian element of our vision right away. We lovingly refer to our place

as "the Monkey" or the "Bleu Monkey Sushi" place on SU Hill. whatever way you refer to us, we're grateful for your patronage. Here's to many more years serving you on SU Hill!
