Good morning, everyone!

Today is our most popular daily special—Enchilada Thursday! Enjoy our 3-enchilada plate, served with rice and beans, for the price of our 2-enchilada plate. Choose red sauce, green sauce, or a combination of both if you'd like a little variety.

Secondly, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the people of our wonderful community who have continued to support us through these challenging times. Restaurants across America, and especially here in Michigan, are still working hard to keep their doors open in the aftermath of COVID and a difficult economy. It’s not just us—many small businesses are facing the same challenges. Orale’s challenges also stem from two years of obstructive road traffic. We persevered.

Orale is a scratch kitchen with a two-person cook line. We do not serve pre-made food that gets scooped from a pan, microwaved, and sent out the window. Every item is prepared fresh to order and cooked in the order that tickets are received.

Since opening, we've been transparent that our wait times may be longer than those at other restaurants because of our commitment to fresh, made-to-order food. Fortunately, most of our customers understand that quality food is worth the wait. We recognize and appreciate your patience.

— 6:00–7:00 PM is our busiest dinner hour every day of the week, and wait times can be at their longest during that period. If possible, we encourage guests to visit or place orders before or after those peak hours. We can go from just a few tickets to 20 or more in a matter of minutes, and we can only cook so fast while maintaining the quality standards that both you and we expect.

Current wait times have been further impacted by the greatly appreciated Chow Down Detroit promotion. We are incredibly grateful for the increased support and are actively working to expand our staffing to better accommodate our growing number of guests.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the supportive response we have received the past couple days, it has been awesome. We would like and need to keep the momentum going so for the folks that have yet to come in or order online, we are inviting you to do so. We are open from 4-8 pm tonight, 4-9pm Friday, 12-9 Saturday, and 12 8 on Sunday. Today is enchilada Thursday where you get 3 for the price of 2.
