My biggest pet peeve in life might just be a lack of follow-through.

Everybody can sit around the round table and talk a big game. Everybody has ideas. Everybody has plans. Everybody knows what should be done.

But ideas don’t create results.

Ex*****on does.

The people and organizations that actually win are the ones filled with people who do what they say they’re going to do—without having to be reminded, chased down, or constantly held accountable for commitments they willingly made.

And eventually, you learn something else: the same few people cannot continuously carry the weight for everyone else. You can have the best ideas, the best meetings, the best intentions and the best plans in the world, but if only a handful of people are willing to execute them, progress will always have a ceiling.

Talk is easy.

Follow-through is leadership.

Ex*****on is what separates intention from results.

I’ll take a small room full of doers over a large room full of big talkers every single time. 💯

Celebrated one of my favorite people last night- Mexican food, strawberry cake and family made it the perfect night and all he really asked for!

Tell people when you’re proud of them. Remind them of their strengths when they’ve forgotten. Celebrate their wins without comparing them to your own. Speak well of them when they aren’t in the room. Give grace. Encourage often. And never underestimate what a few sincere words can do for someone who may be quietly struggling.

There will always be enough criticism, competition, negativity, and people waiting to point out what someone is doing wrong.

Be different.

Be the person who notices the good.
The person who says, “I believe in you.”
The person who makes others feel a little stronger after being around you.

You never lose anything by helping someone else shine. In fact, I think one of the greatest measures of who we are is how people feel after they’ve been in our presence.

I would hug some of my family members a little longer.

I would study harder and focus more on academics.

I would enjoy being young and carefree a bit more, not wishing so hard to be an adult.
