☕️Hi everyone! This will be my last post as the Owner of Sweet Simplici-Tea. The shop will be under new ownership as of Thursday afternoon, July 27th. The new owners, James, Becky and Jessica Alder are wonderful. I am sure you will love them and quickly develop a relationship with them. They are experienced Tearoom owners, having taken over the ownership of Gypsy’s Tearoom in Westminster five years ago. They are very familiar with the tradition of
Afternoon Tea and desire to see this tradition continue. I will remain at Sweet Simplici-Tea to make the transition as smooth as possible. I encourage you to come and meet them and continue to support this business which has graced Main Street Sykesville for the last almost 16 years.
I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to the success of this business. The customers are the reason why the business has thrived. I wish I could personally thank each of you, but I know that is not possible so, if you’re reading this, thank you! So many of you have called recently visited to wish me well, enjoyed a
Afternoon Tea before I retire, written, beautiful notes and cards, given flowers, and gifts, and even some tears and hugs. Thank you for giving to me such a warm farewell. It has blessed me more than you can imagine. I have amazing memories to take with me and gratitude. I sincerely hope that I will have the chance to cross paths with many of you again, maybe it will even be at Sweet Simplici-Tea, as I plan to have regular visit. Thank you again with all of my heart.
