Apple dumplings are back! As you know they are only available until the cafe closes for Christmas. They are also hand made fresh as needed so they are limited in number. Having had hours to regroup and think. I apologize for posting a name. I should've blocked that out. However I will not apologize for looking out for the best interest of my customers. ALL of them. The society we live in makes things difficult to deal with. Yes I lost my cool, yes it got under my skin. No I don't feel bad for asking for respect for the customers who were dining in my cafe today. While I may lose some because they disagree with how things were handled, I feel I will also maintain the appreciation of parents who understand I was looking out for the underage children's best interest. There will be new signage on the entrances of the cafe. "No shoes, No shirt, no service". No confusion. I sincerely hope threats I've received on coming to the cafe with sole purpose of causing trouble, don't come to fruition. There are live recording cameras posted inside and outside the cafe. Here's to hoping tomorrow is a better day for us all.

Ladies and gentlemen. I am going to post a screenshot shot of a post made by someone on fb who was in the cafe today. I will also explain my side of this post since she is only going to give half of the story. Now while this woman was in my restaurant, I did in fact split the bacon i was asked to split between her and her child unlike what the post says.
No ordinarily I do not split meals unless it's a side or a breaded tenderloin. Not a secret. And I offer a kids menu for the littles.
Now as far as her state of undress, I stand above a 380 degree grill and wasnt sweating, so im not entirely for sure why it seemed so warm in my restaurant to this person today. However, I know what a crop top is and I know what a bra is. Been wearing them most of my life. What this person isn't telling people is my dining room was full of underage high school athletes. It is my responsibility to protect those coming into my restaurant, young and aged. There are threats being made on her post of people claiming to be coming here just to cause trouble. People telling her she has grounds for a lawsuit, but they dont know she was exposing herself to a big group of underage students from oak hill on my dining room floor. I guess I will have to post a "no shoes, no shirt, no service" sign on my doors. Now I will apologize that I was put in a position to have to ask this young woman to cover herself but I WILL NOT apologize for protecting the young people in my restaurant from someone who wanted to treat my dining room like a strip club. We are family friendly. I, Tabitha, work 6 most of the time 7 days a week to make Sweetser Cafe great! And will continue to do so. And I will continue to look out for the best interest of ALL of my customers. Please take from this post whatever you feel is right. Just know no matter what, the safety and protection of the people who come into the cafe is now and will always be a priority for me.
