A LITTLE PREORDER REMINDER:

Did you know you can preorder your favorites or request something custom made? We'd LOVE to be part of your next celebration!

Since Cat makes everything from scratch in small batches, we recommend at least ONE WEEK'S NOTICE for orders larger than a dozen. This helps us keep our bakery case stocked while making sure you get exactly what you're craving!

🎂 Planning a weekend event? Weekends tend to book 3–4 weeks in advance, so as soon as you have a date on the calendar, give us a call!

A little planning goes a long way when everything is made from scratch with love.

Meet the Team Monday: Owner Cat!

This week you're getting to know the face behind the coffee, cookies, and occasional chaos that comes with running CK Sweets! Here's a little note from our owner:

"Before retiring from the Air Force as a Security Forces veteran, I decided to chase a dream that combined two things close to my heart: my love for scratch-made baking and my desire to create a place where people feel like they belong.

I didn't open CK Sweets just to sell coffee and cookies. I wanted to create a space where anyone could walk through the door and feel welcome. A place for morning meetings, after-school homework sessions, catching up with a friend, or simply a tired parent grabbing a coffee and taking a much-needed moment for themselves (because let's be honest, kids are A LOT sometimes!)

Over the years, CK Sweets has grown in ways I only dreamed of. From our little shop to our coffee trailer, Zelda, and then finally owning the building that holds so many of our memories. I'm incredibly proud of how far we've come, but the part that means the most to me is the community we've built along the way.

Swanton and our surrounding communities have given this little shop so much love, and I hope you know how deeply that means to me. Every coffee, every cookie, every kind word, and every time you choose to support our small business helps make this dream possible. You aren't just customers; you're part of the CK Sweets family.

Whether you're dressed up, coming straight from work, wrangling kiddos, studying for a big test, or just need somewhere to sit and breathe for a minute, there's a place for you here. You don't need a reason to stop in, and you certainly don't need to have it all together. Just come as you are. ❤️

On Friday, September 18th, CK Sweets will be closing early at 2 PM so our team can pack up and head to the Toledo Zoo’s Zoo To Do!

If you’re heading to Zoo To Do, come find us there! We’ll be near the splash pad ready to serve up some CK favorites.

Meet the Team Monday!

This week we’re introducing Clair!

She’s been part of the CK family for over a year now & is one of our Team Leads. She’s our only full-time team member, & jumps in to help with baking when Cat needs an extra set of hands.

She briefly left us to try something new, but quickly realized how much she missed CK, so she came back and boy, are we beyond thankful she did!

Our customers love seeing her, we love having her, & now we get to watch her plan her 2027 wedding! 💍✨

Friday & Saturday: Back to our regular hours, with Cinnie Rolls on Saturday!

Meet Kylie!

This Meet the Team Monday is a little extra special because we’re introducing Cat’s youngest daughter, Kylie!

Kylie started her CK journey working almost exclusively in Zelda, our mobile coffee trailer, for about a year before joining us for shifts at the shop last year.

She’s always eager to learn from Mom and doesn’t mind getting a little messy in the cookie dough!

We love watching her find her place at CK and can’t wait to see where her CK journey takes her. After all, family is what CK is all about!
