Holy Grounds Coffee Ministry

Holy Grounds Coffee Ministry Holy Grounds is a place where God meets people in the everyday. Our hope is everyone who stops by feels seen, valued, & invited into God’s peace.

Like Jesus invited people to come & find rest, we offer a warm cup, a kind welcome, & space for connection. We’re everyday people who enjoy coffee and connection. Our team serves because we believe church should feel like home. If you need prayer, a friend, or just a calm moment before service, we’re here for you.

✨A Moment of Truth

One of the enemy’s favorite lies isn’t that God doesn’t exist.
It’s that God has forgotten you.

The enemy whispers,
“If God saw you, this wouldn’t be happening.”
“If God cared, He would’ve answered by now.”
“If you mattered, things would be different.”

But Scripture tells a different story.

Again and again, God sees the overlooked.
He hears the unheard.
He remembers the forgotten.

Not once has God misplaced one of His children.

Not one prayer has slipped through His hands.
Not one tear has gone unnoticed.
Not one ordinary day has been outside His care.

If you needed this reminder today, here it is:
You may feel unseen. But feeling unseen and being unseen are not the same thing.

The God who knows the number of hairs on your head knows exactly where you are today—and He hasn’t stopped working.

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry.” — Psalm 34:15

✨A Moment of Truth — For a Day That Doesn’t Need to Be Big to Matter

Not every day announces itself.

Some days arrive quietly—no major headlines, no crisis to fix, no huge decisions waiting. Just a steady rhythm of small things: getting up, showing up, doing what’s in front of you, repeating what you did yesterday.

And it can feel like those kinds of days don’t “count” as much.

But Scripture tells a different story.

“Do not despise these small beginnings…” — Zechariah 4:10

God has a way of working in what feels ordinary to us. The in-between moments. The unseen efforts. The conversations that don’t feel significant at the time. The faithful choices nobody claps for.

A lot of what God is doing in your life won’t feel loud while it’s happening.

It will feel like patience when you wish it felt like progress.
It will feel like obedience when you wish it felt like clarity.
It will feel like smallness when you wish it felt like significance.

But heaven doesn’t measure your day the way we often do.

There is sacred weight in simply being faithful where you are—right now, in this hour, with what you have.

So if today feels “normal,” let it also be holy.

Not because everything is perfect, but because God is present in it.

And sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is simply this:
be faithful in the small, trust God in the quiet, and keep going with Him beside you.

☕ Even the ordinary is held by an extraordinary God.

✨A Moment of Truth — The Ministry of a Cup

Most of us don’t remember every sermon we’ve heard, every song we’ve sung, or every conversation we’ve had. But we often remember how someone made us feel.

A warm smile.
A kind greeting.
A cup of coffee placed in our hands.

It may seem small, but throughout Scripture, God often works through simple acts of hospitality. A meal shared, a table opened, a drink offered, a stranger welcomed. These ordinary moments become opportunities for extraordinary grace.

Before worship begins, before the message is preached, and before the first note is sung, ministry is already happening. It happens in hallways, around tables, and over steaming cups of coffee. It happens when people feel seen, welcomed, and valued.

Never underestimate what God can do through a simple act of kindness. A cup of coffee may warm someone’s hands, but a loving welcome can warm a weary heart.

“Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” — Romans 15:7

May we serve every cup with joy, every conversation with grace, and every person with the love of Christ. ☕

We’d love for you to join us in worship this month! Holy Grounds Coffee Ministry serves before each of our worship services at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. 🤎

✨A Moment of Truth—
The Cup Is Already Full—We Just Keep Forgetting

Most mornings, we don’t drink coffee because we’re empty.
We drink it because we’re trying to catch up to our lives.

But here’s something we rarely notice: the cup itself doesn’t panic about being poured into.

It just receives.

No resistance. No analysis. No hesitation about whether it deserves what’s being given.

“From His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.” — John 1:16

We tend to live like we’re constantly running on empty, trying to earn what God is already offering.
But what if the issue isn’t that we’re empty… what if it’s that we’ve just learned to overlook what’s already been poured in?

Grace isn’t usually missing.
It’s often just unnoticed.

Like a full cup sitting on the counter while we’re still searching for something to fill it.

Maybe today isn’t about getting more from God.
Maybe it’s about realizing what’s already been given—and finally receiving it like it’s true.

WORD TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK:
Receive

Let me pray over you, friend...
Lord, slow us down enough to notice what You’ve already placed in our lives. Help us receive Your grace without striving, and rest in what You’ve already provided. We love you, it's in Your name that we pray, Amen.

✨A Moment of Truth —
After the storms, the clouds always seem to linger a little longer. The roads stay wet. The sky stays gray. And sometimes our hearts do too.

But one thing I’ve learned about God is this: He does some of His gentlest work in the middle of gloomy weather.

Not every blessing arrives like sunshine breaking through the clouds. Sometimes it comes quietly — in the breath you took this morning, the strength to keep going, the kindness of a stranger, the warmth of a cup of coffee shared in community.

The rain last night may have shaken windows and interrupted sleep, but it also watered the ground for new growth we cannot yet see.

Maybe this Monday feels heavy already.
Maybe you’re walking into another busy week tired, uncertain, or carrying things nobody else notices.

Still, God remains faithful.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22-23

New every morning.
Even this one.

So today, before you rush ahead, take one slow breath. Let the coffee warm your hands. Let grace soften your heart. And remember: You do not have to carry this week alone.

There is still light behind the clouds. ☀️🤍
