Open NOON TO 5PM tomorrow as we get going…with high school graduations happening and our staffing still thin make sure to check back here for adjusted hours for the remainder of the week and then next week we will shift into our normal summer hours.

We want to be open and are so excited YOU all want us to get open too! 🙏🏻🍤🦞

We’ve run up against some plumbing and propane issues…hoping they get addressed and solved first thing Monday morning and then we will be READY TO GO!

In the meantime…stay tuned here and enjoy some scenes from our work day today!

Hello, Perry’s Friends-

Today we have some devastating news to share. Last night, tragedy stuck one of our Shack Families when a fire destroyed their home and all their belongings.

We’re thankful and blessed to say they are all safe and healthy, but now faced with the massive task of rebuilding and replacing all that was lost.

We know how tight of a Perry’s community has been built over the last three decades…several of the family members have been longtime Shack employees…two currently still are. And we would love to come together as much as possible to help in any way we can.

At the moment we are collecting gift cards for basic needs:
Walmart, Target, Hannaford, Dick’s Sporting Goods…the kids are 15 & 17 and the whole family will need to replace everything.
If you prefer we also are accepting Venmo to purchase the cards for you or purchase Visa cards for general needs.
Clothing and shoe sizes and needs are listed on the Downeast Family YMCA page and can be dropped off there.

While we look ahead to next week and our opening weekend and the upcoming season, we want to take this time to pour our energy and support into one of our own. Please message with any questions or if you’re interested in helping this amazing family get through this devastating loss.

Several of you have asked about opening…we know, we’re excited for the season too!

At this time we don’t have an opening date yet confirmed…but it’s definitely worth checking back here often to find out! We’ll have a better idea next week weather depending!
