A COMMUNITY COMING TOGETHER FOR DOC!
Over the past few weeks, we have been reminded just how special the Murrells Inlet community truly is.
Since Doc underwent quadruple bypass heart surgery, the outpouring of love, prayers, messages, donations, and support has been nothing short of incredible.
Doc is doing well and continuing to get stronger, and he is humbled and grateful for everything this community has done for him. At 82 years young, he’s still talking about getting back into the kitchen at Blue Elephant! ❤️
While Doc continues to recover, he is also training a new chef to get Blue Elephant ready to reopen as soon as possible. We’re hopeful that an opening date is getting closer and will share updates as soon as we can!
A huge THANK YOU to Jack Gregory and everyone at Palm 33 Restaurant for helping organize a benefit concert in Doc’s honor!
