11 days ago, our world changed in a matter of minutes and today, we're grateful to share some encouraging progress.

✅ Demo is complete.
✅ Dehumidifiers have done their job.
✅ Water service has been restored.
✅ Electricity is back on.

While there's still a long (and somewhat overwhelming) road ahead before we can welcome you back through our doors, these milestones feel significant to us and we wanted to share them with you.

We continue to be overwhelmed by the kindness, encouragement and support from our community, customers, fellow businesses, first responders, contractors, friends, and neighbors. Your messages and offers to help have carried us through a difficult week.

Wally's has always been about more than a building. It's about the people who gather here, celebrate here, work here, and call this place part of their community. We're moving forward, one day at a time, and we're more determined than ever to reopen and get back to doing what we love most....serving all of you.

Thank you for sticking with us. More updates to come as we continue rebuilding.

The systems you put in place worked perfectly and played an enormous part in the quick response of the fire departments arrival. It isn't lost on us how much worse it could have been.

Gosline Fire protection LLC - Jay, you are the best! Your sprinkler system worked exactly as it should have and kept us from losing the entire building, as the fire departments rushed to arrive. We so appreciate your immediate response, showing up the next day and even the owner, Matt, coming out himself.

So last night didn't go as anyone planned.
While closing up the building after a wonderful Saturday night shift, a fire broke out. We are so incredibly happy to be able to share that no one from Wally's or any of our sweet neighbors, were hurt.
Our beloved building, our livelihood, the framework of our Wally's family, is a different story.
We don't know what caused it.
We don't know the extent of the damage.
We don't know when we will reopen.
But we know that we WILL reopen.

We are eternally grateful for everyone who helped last night as we watched the tangible representation of all of our hard work and love burn.
