The Final Day of Chef Cheri’s Cooking Camp!

- we made and ate pepperoni rolls
- we made sour grapes!
We reviewed all the great info we’ve learned this week and I really feel that some of them may carry it with them forever!
What a blessing it’s been and a good distraction for me. I may have found a new passion 🤔😉

Day 3:
Chef Cheri’s Cooking Camp
It gives me great comfort through this week, as we prepare to close to spend time with these , “eager to learn”, campers!☺️

-We played another round of name that tool!
-We made and shared ” a uncrustable with Cheri’s cool “ cut and seal
-we learned about the importance of trying new things( everyone loved apricot jam on their PB &J)
-We search through cookbooks  and found 30 different types of desserts😋
-And ultimately, we made BANANA CREAM PIE!
(we may have licked a few spatulas!😉)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of our Bakery and Deli.

Friday June 12 6:00 PM

Over the past year, we have poured our hearts into serving this community and creating a place where friends, families, and neighbors could gather over good food and sweet treats. We gave it everything we had and are incredibly proud of what we built together.

Unfortunately, with the rising costs of goods, supplies, and operating expenses, we have reached a point where we can no longer keep our doors open. This was not an easy decision, but it is one we must make.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to every customer who walked through our doors, placed an order, shared a kind word, or supported us along the way. Your loyalty, encouragement, and friendship have meant more to us than words can express.

While this chapter is coming to an end, it is not necessarily goodbye. Cheri will continue to offer catering services, so please feel free to reach out for any future catering needs at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

We also encourage you to stay tuned to our page, as we may be offering cooking and baking classes in the future. We would love the opportunity to continue sharing our passion and connecting with this wonderful community in new ways.

The relationships we've built and the memories we've shared will stay with us forever. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you who supported us throughout this journey.

What a joy to teach these young aspiring Chefs!

Today’s theme was :
“ pretty food taste better”
Where each student left with their own tiny charcuterie box !
We learned about food safety, and in particular “ cross-contamination”
And all about different kitchen tools, how to use them !
