Tonight, Smok'in Vet & Fire BBQ will be at the 1st Annual Licking County First Responder Rodeo, presented by New River Electrical.

Come out to the Hartford Fair Grandstands for a fun night with 28+ vendors, great food, and activities for the whole family. It is shaping up to be a night you will not want to miss.

We love getting the chance to bring our BBQ to special gatherings, and today the truck will be on the road doing just that.

Everybody has their go-to, but Friday might be the day to switch it up.

Have you tried The Burnt Offering yet? Thick-cut pork belly, smoked low and slow until it’s caramelized, sticky, smoky, and packed with flavor.

Or go for the Smoked Pork Grenades, loaded with pulled pork and double cheese, wrapped up and fried for a full-on flavor bomb.

Want something crispy? Engine Co. Crunch Strips start with big cuts of chicken breast, breaded in-house and fried in beef tallow.

We’re kicking off October at our usual Sunbury spot with the smoker doing what it does best. If you haven’t tried the Commander & Cheek smoked beef cheeks yet, Thursday might be the day. Tender, bold, and packed with smoky flavor, especially with a side of Backdraft Mac or Battle Braised Baked Beans.

Save room for a Code Red Cheesecake Cup too. Oreo Strike, Key Lime Tango, or Reese’s Ammo Cup makes a pretty solid finish to a BBQ plate.
