Hey everyone!

I’ve had a couple people ask me to make collard greens for Thanksgiving this year.
Since telling them I will, I decided to throw it out here to anyone else who’s interested.

I’ll need your order by Friday, 11/21 and pickup will be Wednesday, the 26th.

I just felt like coming over here and talking to my amazing customers.

I was in Harrisburg the other day, and went into the Restaurant Depot, where I normally got my restaurant supplies.

I have to tell you, as I was walking around the Depot, my heart ached to be cooking again.

I can’t even explain to y’all how much I miss cooking and giving you your favorite foods from Mellie’s.

Just know that as soon as I’m able to find the right location, I’ll be back.

I miss and love all of you.
And you are the reason I’ll never give up.

I got into a screaming match with two “millennials” regarding the use of baking soda to reduce refrigerator odors.

These two knuckleheads, whom I love dearly 🤣, swore the baking soda box had to say “for refrigerator”.

I said, NO IT DOES NOT!!
I was actually screaming at them!!

I tried to explain that that is nothing but a MARKETING SCHEME to get people to pay a higher price for the same thing we’ve used FOR YEARS!!

These two girls swore I was wrong!
So I had to prove my point!
I found the “bulk packaged, no-name baking soda” in her cabinet and made her dump it in a bowl and sit it in her fridge!

THE NEXT DAY she recognized a difference in her fridge!! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

All’s I’m guna say is, society/social media is raising a bunch of idiots who buy into all the marketing hype.
And the manufacturers of these “new” (but not new) products are laughing at the stupidity while tappin’ these young people’s pockets!

You youngins better start listening to us “old folk” or your cute little clutches are guna hurt for reasons that can be avoided. Smh.

A couple of people have reached out to me asking if I’m making Broccoli Salad for Easter.

You know me, once a couple of people ask, I’m happy to do it!

So, Saturday, March 30th, I’ll have quarts of Broccoli Salad available for $12.

If you picked up at Thanksgiving, it’ll be the same location.
If you order this time and need the address just let me know when you message me.
