Hello hello Sun Prairie! We're starting to see a lot of fall-like things at the market, but when we saw these poblanos that was offering we didn't want to pass them up!

You asked for it, we got it! Chef Brian on nothing more than a paddle boat and a dream braved the open ocean, jumped into the water and rounded up this wild Coho salmon with his bare hands to bring back to Salvatore's menu! Ok so that's not entirely true but regardless check out this entree going live tomorrow!

Salmon Aglio e Olio
Wild caught Coho salmon, herb lemon butter, spaghetti, garlic, chili flakes, olive oil, lemon, parsley parmesan

One of our favorite Italian classics made better with mouth-watering baked salmon, we're excited to share this with you this weekend. Come and get your feeeeeesh!!

We're spicing things up tonight at Sal's with this hot to trot traditional dish that's sure to warm your bones and your hearts! Spicy, sassy, and delicious, going live for dinner tonight:

Shrimp Fra Diavolo
Calabrese chili shrimp, spaghetti, market tomato, crushed red pepper, white w**e, butter, basil, micro green

TOMATOES, DON'T LEAVE ON THAT TRAIN IT'S GOING TO LONDON AND WE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!!...Ahem, sorry about that, it's just, kinda emotional when the seasons change. We still have some of our farmer partners with some beautiful tomatoes and Chef Brian wanted to capitalize on the final part of tomato season with our newest market pie, a little twist on the classic Margherita!

Hello Sun Prairie, and happy Wednesday!

One of the best parts of this job is getting to know our local farmers and artisans, and over time they become part of our wacky family.

If you've been around us for a while, you know our friends over at Ann In A Jam, who we've paired for for fan favorites such as the BOF burger. If you frequent the Sun Prairie Farmers Market, you've probably met Brooks, the wacky and fun hype man, and gotten to try Ann's genius creations (she's pretty dang fun too!).

Last year their daughter Reggie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Now Reggie is a kid who doesn't slow down for much, and T1D wasn't gonna be the start of that. She's one tough kid, and we couldn't be more proud of her. This year on October 4th, the family will be participating in the BreakthroughT1D walk to help raise funds for research and education. If you're able to support them in doing so, it will be greatly appreciated!

It's the weekend, and we're open for lunch Friday through Sunday! Looking for some good food while it's been kinda gloomy? C'mon in so we can help with that!

SPROUTS!
That's right, we're starting to see sprouts at the Farmer's Market and we're gonna start off the season with this lovely fresh plate coming to you tomorrow for dinner!

Brussels Sprouts Salad-
Shaved Brussels sprouts, butternut squash puree, pancetta, brown butter vinaigrette, fresno peppers, parmesan, pepitas, micro greens

It's Game Day already?? And it's against WHO!?

Well don't worry, we've got you covered when it comes to pre-game, in-game, halftime and post-game because our ovens are hot and ready to go! We'll be slinging pizzas all day for you, and don't forget the wings! Also, in honor of the Green and Gold being back on the field, we'll be running our meatball sub all day today.

Don't wanna watch at home alone? We'll have the game on up at the bar this afternoon, so feel free to stop in and sit a spell, we'll handle the food and drinks!
