“For well over ten years, every Wednesday night was open mic night at Pizza Lane on Broad Street in Sumter. It's difficult to count the number of up and coming musicians who got their start here! Several bands, including a couple that I was in, got started after the musicians met doing open mic. I have MANY great memories playing here and met many who I still consider good friends. Well, folks, it is BACK ON! Starting on Wednesday, August 21st, WINGS & STRINGS is back onstage at Pizza Lane! Put it on your calendars and come join us again for some great fun, food and music!”

I just want to say, without Francis Hanna, we would not have been able to have what we had at Wings & Strings. Sumter local music benefited from Francis in a way which cannot be compared. He will be truly missed
