GIVEAWAY-ish! 😂

I was putting away groceries today and found myself wondering if anyone would be able to guess the three meals I’m making this week from a few of the ingredients. So out of curiosity, I thought I’d find out!

In exchange for your guesses, I’ll give you a chance to win some fresh Big Texas Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies! (I also just really want cookies this week so now I’ll have a good reason to make them!! 😉)

Meal #1 uses the sour cream (it’s a chicken based meal!)

Soft, sugary sweet cinnamon buns, topped with pecans and vanilla glaze. Made with fresh-milled flour, these treats have extra protein and complete b vitamins so you can feel a little better about having two 😉

Today’s bake is inspired by littlesunshineminidonuts! Their Cinnamon Roll donuts are delicious!!! 😋

Yogurt Drinks Anyone?

I’ve been experimenting with making drinkable yogurts for my family that are high in protein and don’t have any artificial sweeteners.

I’m still experimenting and haven’t figured out quantities yet (which means I made 40 servings today instead of 20 😬 so I have quite a few extra today if anyone is interested in trying a bottle or two and giving me some feedback!)

After calculating out recipes today, each bottle ended with 15 grams of protein!

These are somewhat similar to the oikos pro yogurt drinks, but with fewer ingredients.

I have blueberry and strawberry/banana.

The blueberry are made with whole milk plain Greek yogurt, local blueberries, and sweetened with maple syrup. These are significantly more tangy than the strawberry due to the whole milk yogurt.

The strawberry banana are a mix of plain low fat Greek yogurt and vanilla Greek yogurt (sweetened with cane sugar), strawberries, and bananas. There’s are pretty similar to the oikos strawberry banana in my opinion.
