🚨🚨HELP IDENTIFY THIS INDIVIDUAL🚨🚨
We are asking for the community’s help identifying the individual pictured below, who identified himself as “Matt.”
He is being sought in connection with an incident that occurred at Corner House Restaurant last night involving an alleged assault of one of our employees and an unpaid restaurant tab. The incident has been reported to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.

Summer is drawing to a close, and with it, summer flavors. Watermelon has been lovely, but it's nearly time to move on and embrace warm baking spice, darker beers, and the flavors of harvest time. (yes, that includes pumpkin spice)

To that end, we are testing some items that we think would fit on our fall menu. Stop on by to try:

🚨 WE’RE BACK! 🚨

We’re happy to announce that Corner House Restaurant will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18th, for normal business operations!

After the unexpected equipment failure caused by this past weekend’s storms, our culinary team has been working hard to get everything back up and running safely and properly.

We truly appreciate the patience, understanding, and incredible support we’ve received from the Summers Corner community and all of our guests over the past few days. It means a lot to our entire team.

We’re getting everything restocked and ready to go, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

⚠️ TEMPORARY CLOSURE UPDATE ⚠️

Unfortunately, during last night’s severe storms, Corner House was struck by lightning, impacting our walk-in refrigeration system and resulting in the loss of our food inventory.

Out of an abundance of caution, and to ensure we can safely and properly get everything back up and running, Corner House will be temporarily closed while we assess the damage, make the necessary repairs, and restock.

At this time, we do not want to speculate on a reopening date/time until we have a clearer understanding of the extent of the damage. We will keep everyone updated and will announce our reopening as soon as we have a confirmed timeline.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience, understanding, and support while we work through this unexpected situation.
