Knowing full well Poogan’s Porch could never truly be duplicated away from the walls of the famous 19th century home on Queen Street, it was the careful decision of the family to take its recipes, traditions, techniques, and hospitality to create a stylish Southern diner in its image. From our house-made baked goods to our famous buttermilk fried chicken, fluffy biscuits, and fresh seafood, Poogan’s Southern Kitchen offers a comfortable and approachable dining experience in Nexton in Summerville, SC. A stylish center bar produces fresh juice used for our Southern lemonade, orange juice, and hand-crafted adult beverages.
