We are so happy to hear that Mark from Lola's Lumpia Food Truck is recovering. Here is how you can help:
Hey , we will be off road for a while, allowing Mark time to recover from his Injuries.
We are so grateful for every text, call, donation, food drop off, prayers, well wishes & good vibes. You all have restored my faith in humanity. 💕💕💕
Our friends started this Gofundme, which is greatly helping ease Mark’s mind about the loss of Income and Medicall bills we can expect. Every single cent is appreciated. 💕Love, Reneka & Mark

As many of you have heard, we’ve had quite an eventful weekend!
Friday evening, Mark and I were preparing to work our dinner service, and he climbed onto the top of our walk-in cooler to do a repair. As he was coming down, the ladder slipped, causing Mark to fall down (kind of head first) onto the concrete floor. It knocked him out and he still does not have memory of the fall at all.
He was transported by EMS to MUSC, and his injuries were quite serious. 8 staples in his head, 7 broken ribs, a small skull fracture, and small brian bleed. He was admitted to ICU, where the staff and doctors took the absolute best care of him. Seriously I can’t say enough nice things about them.
While this all sounds (and is) extremely serious, and Mark has a slow and and painful recovery ahead of him, his prognosis is good! The bleed did not show signs of getting larger, and he has NO signs of neurological impairment. He is able to move all of his limbs. All of these are signs that with the proper amount of rest, he should make a full recovery.
Thanks so much for the calls, and texts, and meals, and donations, and just all the things. (Even from complete strangers!) I’m overwhelmed with all the love. 💕
And here he is, proving with enough pain meds, you can smile through most anything. - Love you guys!
