Congratulations to Chad, our General Manager, for celebrating one year working for the company! ✋🏽Wait, did you say one year? Chad started his journey helping manage Wild Olive, our sister restaurant, and was then brought over to The OD to lead our team! ✨We are so grateful for everything Chad has done so far and can’t wait for what is in store. What is your favorite part about working at The OD? 🏃🏽‍♂️💨
The food is obviously the star but I also enjoy the fast paced environment and the professionalism the team displays.

What is your favorite thing to eat on our Menu? 🍝
That’s a tough one. For brunch, I’m a huge fan of the pork belly; for dinner, I would have to say the sausage and fennel rigatoni.

What are your passions and hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and two-year-old daughter, gardening, and playing music. I haven’t surfed here in SC yet, but I usually surf as well. 🏄🎶🪏🪴

What is your favorite part about working at the OD? The people. They make this place special and fun every day.  It’s a joy to watch our staff on their journey. We have so many tenured employees, 1yr, 2yr, 3 yr, and so forth. Also, our regulars who have been coming since day one help make this place special.  There have been many Friday nights, 75% of the bar will be regulars, which creates a good energy. I have seen so many first dates turn into marriages and families, leading to multiple celebrations over the years.  I am honored to be apart in their stories.

What is your favorite thing to eat on our Menu?
The Old Danger, the ricotta Gnocchi and always the pesce a la plancha special 🍕🐠

What are your passions and hobbies outside of work?
Hanging out with my family and grilling out.  I love to eat out and watch professionals at their Craft.  I love to watch Joey Goetz at Ok Donna, Bethany and Dano at Verns, and Jason at Fish Camp, just to name a few.  Those guys love the food business, and I have learned a lot just by observing them in action.

What is your favorite part about working at the OD?

The team is incredible to be around. There are so many passionate people that are dedicated to making something special. It’s an energy you want to be around and a part of.

Also the gelato is awesome.

What is your favorite thing to eat on our Menu?

I love the Old danger pizza! I’m always in the mood for a white sauce pizza, add pancetta and a runny egg…what more can you want?

What are your passions and hobbies outside of work?

I love spending time with my Fiancé and my dog. You can often find me outside and in the water. Oil painting is also a hobby of mine when I am feeling creative.
