Softshell Crab lightly dusted in a seasoned corn starch and flour mixture, pan-fried and served over chickpea & riced cauliflower salad with an herb aioli.

Coby Daniels using the shovel & blowtorch combo method to de-ice the porch & stairs at High Thyme. The weather folks are predicting below freezing temps again after dark. So, we would just feel AWFUL if an awesome employee or patron was injured at our little snow-covered restaurant by the sea. We are choosing to remain closed today, but are very hopeful that we will return to making some delish food and drinks for y’all starting Friday, January 24th at 5pm.

Thanks to our little buddy Grayson for checking in on the restaurant for us. He said it’s super slippery, snowy & cold out on Sullivan’s Island…so we should stay home another day. We’re planning to reopen on Thursday at 5.

Dog & Duck Family Pubs - this is an awesome company right here…they’re always organizing ways to give back to the community. North Carolina needs our help, desperately. If you have items to donate but can’t get to a Dog & Duck location, bring the items to High Thyme before Tuesday at 10pm amd we will make sure they get delivered for the Wednesday launch to Asheville area. 🙏🙏🙏

It’s too risky to have our awesome loyal staff members drive in this Debby Downer rainstorm so High Thyme will be CLOSED Tuesday, August 6th.
Hopefully we’ll be able to reopen on Wednesday…we’ll make that call in the morning.

***UPDATE*** Sullivan’s Island lost power so we were forced to close down. Y’all be safe and see you tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

We’re opening business as usual tonight but will continue to monitor the weather & tides. Our foremost concern is our family of staffers and our loyal patrons’ safety. But they all want to work tonight, so Hurricane Party at High Thyme it is! We may switch direction and close early if the need arises…but in the meantime, come on over and have yourself some delicious food & drinks!

If you’re wanting to come visit us, remember to wear flip flops because our front walkway always gets a little under water with lots of rain!

High Thyme will be CLOSED today ~ Friday, September 30th ~ due to the effects of Hurricane Ian🌀🌊🌧. We want our loyal staff/family members to remain safe and not travel in these storm conditions. We expect that Dominion Energy will efficiently restore power to Sullivan’s Island when it is safe and we will be OPEN for dinner service on Saturday, October 1st. Stay safe Y’all! Prayers for all of our neighboring cities and states dealing with the effects of this storm 🙏🏼♥️.
