Happy Wednesday! ☀️

People often ask what a typical day as Executive Director of the Sullivan County Chamber looks like. The truth is…there really isn’t a “typical” day, and that’s one of the things I love most about this job.

One minute I’m connecting with a business owner, the next I’m meeting with community partners, answering questions, planning events, advocating for our members, or working behind the scenes on projects that help move Sullivan County forward. Every conversation is an opportunity to build relationships and strengthen our community. (Your membership helps ensure all of this)!!

This week has an extra layer of excitement because it’s Fair Week! Like so many of you, I’ll be making time to stop by the fairgrounds, cheer on our amazing 4-H youth, catch up with friends, support local vendors, and, of course, enjoy one of those famous milkshakes. Some traditions are simply too good to miss!

Serving this business community is more than a job to me, it’s a privilege! I’m continually inspired by the hardworking entrepreneurs, dedicated volunteers, community leaders, and neighbors who care deeply about Sullivan County. Your passion and commitment remind me every day why I love what I do.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think there’s a milkshake calling my name. 😊🥤

Exciting news for our Library!

Exciting News: The Sullivan County Public Library is Expanding!

We are officially in the preliminary planning stages for a major renovation and expansion project at our main branch, scheduled to begin in Spring 2027.

As our community grows, so does our need for modern spaces. This project will give our beloved historic Carnegie building some well-deserved TLC while adding a brand-new two-story wing to better serve our patrons.

𝙏𝙞𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙖 𝙃𝙪𝙜𝙚 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙆 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 the Winery. Starting a small business was definitely a challenge for us. We couldn't have done it without you, our customers. The friendships that we've formed across the bar are exactly why we started the Winery!

So when you're trying to decide where to shop, thank you for remembering that:
