The Sullivan County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, has awarded an emergency grant in the amount of $10,000 to The Salvation Army of Sullivan County, IN.

On Wednesday evening, residents serving on the Community Foundation’s Sullivan County Services Committee voted to award an emergency grant to The Salvation Army of Sullivan, IN. This funding comes from the Sullivan County Community Foundation’s unrestricted grant monies and is unrelated to the “Help Sullivan Recover” fund.

We now have cat condos set up for cats who are missed placed or for someone who is staying somewhere that cats are not allowed. These condos are compliments of Terre Haute Humane Society and we want to thank them along with others who have donated supplies. This is a free service for those impacted by the tornado, someone who has found a cat and need a place for it or if someone has an owner but needs a place for the owner to go pick up. We can help. We know our local Sullivan Human Society is doing what they can and we appreciate what they are doing. This is our way of expanding their help if needed. We can house up to approx a dozen if needed. I try to never question God plan or timing, as I trust in him. This isn’t how we expected our dream to come into fruition….but, he knows better than us!

Matt and I will be at the shop today, so come see us, say see ya later, celebrate the memories of the past year, and hope with us in what’s to come. ❤️
