Nijsters, but people call me Ellah. I was born and raised in Quezon City in the Philippines. After getting married, I moved with my family to Singapore and, more recently, to Denver, Colorado, and now Sugar Land, Texas. I consider myself a foodie; I love to cook and eat. Pursuing my love for food, I graduated summa cm laude from the world-renowned Johnson and Wales University with a Culinary Arts
degree. Given my passion for baked goods, I decided to become a pastry chef. I spent years mastering the intricacies of decorating cakes and creating delectable pastries. Next to my Culinary Arts degree, I hold a Masters's Certificate from the Knightsbridge School of Cake Decorating and Confectionery Arts, plus I completed numerous Wilton Method classes. I started my first home-based bakery business in April 2015 and served the larger Stapleton community in Denver with quality treats and beautiful cakes. Over the years, this business became very successful with many repeat customers. My business became a go-to household name for many families when they need a special cake to celebrate a special occasion. My baked wares are all made from scratch as much as possible. I only use fresh, healthy, and preferably organic ingredients for my creations. Nothing comes out of the freezer or pack: I pride myself on being a real baker. I specialize in custom-decorated cakes for any occasion. But also unique cupcakes, handmade decorated cookies, and of course, cake pops. I regularly make different pastries, pies, and loaves of bread, but my true passion is a beautifully decorated cake for a festive occasion. When I'm not busy in my kitchen, I spend my time with my husband and four children: family!
