What a great way to kick off the new school year!

Our Food & Nutrition Team was honored to serve breakfast at this year’s Leadership Retreat. Our amazing Summer Star Students worked alongside our team, helping prepare and serve a delicious breakfast while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Guests enjoyed seven breakfast stations featuring cereal, fresh fruit & yogurt, waffles & pancakes, breakfast meats, made-to-order omelets, coffee & beverages and a sundae toppings bar for dessert during lunch.

A huge thank you to our dedicated Food & Nutrition Team and Summer Star Students for your hard work, teamwork and commitment to excellence. We can’t wait to continue serving our students and staff another amazing school year!💛💙

Today was one for the books! 🎉💙

Our SPS School Nutrition Family Fun Day was filled with laughter, games, music, giveaways, and of course… great food! 🍔🎶🎁

This special event was inspired by our new director, James Riddick, who recognized the importance of uplifting and restoring staff morale. With that vision in mind, our amazing office team came together and brought it to life and the turnout was incredible!

Most importantly, we hope today reminded our dedicated staff just how much they are appreciated. Your hard work and commitment to serving the students of Suffolk Public Schools does not go unnoticed. ❤️
