Taking Irie Delights beyond the farmers market! 💚💛

Today’s stop: Pure Barre Park Ridge! 🩰🍪

Usually I’m here shaking through a barre class, but today I traded my grip socks for cookies and Jamaican patties. 😂

One of my favorite things about these pop-ups is getting to share another side of what I do with a community that’s become such a familiar part of my routine.

A big thank you to Pure Barre Park Ridge for always welcoming Irie Delights and to everyone who stopped by to show some love!

Now the real question… are we reaching for a cookie or a Jamaican patty after barre? 👀😂

Market vendor dilemma 7,011: never trust the quiet part of a farmers market. 😭😂

For approximately 11 seconds I thought, “Oh, maybe today will be a nice calm day.”

TaSH said absolutely not. 😂

Cookies disappeared, every patty flavor sold out, drinks were nearly wiped out and somehow five hours felt like 20 minutes.

And because apparently I enjoy this level of chaos, I’ll be right back doing it all over again tomorrow. 😂

Save the schedule, check the weekly menu every Wednesday, and come early because y’all have been making “sold out” a recurring theme lately. 🍪🇯🇲

Apparently Mother Nature looked at my weekend schedule and said, “Girl, sit down.” 😂🌧️

So the ovens are OFF and Irie Delights is staying HOME.

No markets + no pickups this weekend due to the nor’easter. ☔️

If you need me, I’ll be enjoying this extremely rare phenomenon known as a weekend off. 😂

Market vendor dilemma 9,067: apparently the job description includes baker, cashier, salesperson, content creator… and part-time mover. 😭😂

Nobody talks about the workout that comes with every farmers market. 😂 Unload everything. Set everything up. Work the market. Break everything down. Load everything BACK into the car. 😭

And then somehow do it all again the next day. 😂

My shoulder has also filed a formal complaint. 😂 Shoutout to steroid injections. 🏆🙌🏽

Due to an unexpected event, the Irie Delights ovens are officially OFF this weekend 🍪🚫 — no markets, orders, pickups or deliveries. Your baker is taking a much-needed weekend off!

A few days late, but apparently I was too busy actually working the schedule to post the schedule. 😭

Market vendor dilemma 9,004: finally getting to the market EARLY… just to realize you forgot half your life. 😭😂

I was so proud of myself this morning too. 😂 Got there early, started setting up and my first customer was ready to check out when I realized… my phone was still in the car. 🤦🏽‍♀️ So off I went running back to get it.

Got my phone, came back, thought the crisis was over… until a customer asked for a drink and I realized ALL of my drinks were still at home. 😭😂

Cue the emergency drink delivery.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why I’m usually late. Apparently getting there on time and remembering everything are two separate skills. 😭😂

POV: You’re an introvert who somehow chose a business that requires talking to people all day. 😭😂

I spend most of my week happily baking by myself… then market day comes and suddenly I’m smiling, chatting, answering questions and ringing up customers for hours. 😂

Meanwhile, there’s a completely separate conversation happening in my head the entire time. 😭

Social battery: 1%.
Still genuinely happy to see y’all: 100%. 😂💚
