POV: You’re a mom, business owner, and somehow expected to have it all together. 😂

This was me before I learned that being a business owner doesn’t mean doing everything yourself. Delegating saved my sanity, my energy, and probably my last brain cell. 💀😂

I loved my baby desperately.

And I was also struggling desperately.

Both were true.

After I had Leo, I experienced horrible postpartum depression and anxiety. But I was completely obsessed with my baby. I breastfed him, held him constantly, slept beside him, worried about him, and loved him beyond words.

So when I finally said I was struggling, I was essentially told I couldn’t have postpartum depression because I hadn’t “lost interest” in my baby.

But I hadn’t lost interest in my baby.

I had lost myself.

Six years later, while pregnant with my second baby, I’m watching the Lindsay Clancy trial and thinking about my own experience all over again.

I don’t know exactly what happened inside Lindsay’s mind, and I won’t pretend that I do. But this case has forced me to ask the same question over and over:

What happens when a mother asks for help... and the help isn’t enough?

We tell struggling mothers to GET HELP.

Okay.

WHERE IS THE HELP?

Who listens? Who notices when she isn’t getting better? Who asks how she’s really doing—and stays long enough to hear the answer?

A mother can love her baby more than anything in the world and still be mentally unwell.

Those things are not mutually exclusive.

I know because I lived it.

And that’s a huge part of why mamas play exists.

Because mothers need connection. Mothers need community. Mothers need other mothers.

And sometimes, what a struggling mother needs most is someone to say:

“Tell me how you really feel. I’m listening.”

If this is part of your story too, tell us.

You are not alone.

One day, they’re yelling “MOM! COME LOOK AT THIS!” 47 times a day… and the next, you’re lucky if they even open the reel you sent. 😂

So yes, I WILL be sending you random reels until further notice. You owe me. 🫶😂

Our kids are always watching not to judge us, but to learn from us.

They notice how we speak when we’re stressed, how we treat ourselves, how we communicate with the people we love, and how we handle the chaos of everyday life.

We won’t always respond perfectly. We’ll lose our patience. We’ll get overwhelmed. We’ll make mistakes.

What matters is that we pause, repair, and keep trying to model the kind of love, respect, and emotional safety we want them to carry with them.

Because they’re learning from us even in the moments we don’t realize they are.

kinda chic to just... show up 💖

no packing, no planning, no pressure to make it a whole production. we’ve got the mess, the fun, and the coffee covered, you just bring the kids (and yourself).

POV: You’re a mother, so your favorite place isn’t always somewhere fancy…

It’s somewhere your little one is happy. 🥹

And for us? That place is mama’s play. 🌈🛝

Come make the little moments count. 💕

Back in the day: “Bye! Have fun at school!” 👋

No water bottle. No snacks. No phone. No 47 emergency items packed in a backpack. 😂

Meanwhile, me every morning: “Did you eat? Where are your shoes? Do you have your water? Your jacket? YOUR SHOES?!”

Parenting really said: Let’s make school drop-off a full-contact sport. 😭😂

Who else is fighting for their life every morning? 👇

A LITTLE LOOK AT HOW STUNNING THIS NIGHT WAS…

Our Balloon Garland Class at mamas play, in collaboration with .n.bottles, was an absolute DREAM. 🎈🥂

The setup? STUNNING.
The balloons? PERFECTION.
The vibes? IMMACULATE. ✨

From the gorgeous balloon-filled space to all the little details that made the night feel extra special, this was one of those events where every corner was photo-worthy. 😍

We loved transforming mamas play into the prettiest balloon workshop and bringing this experience to life with Balloons ’n’ Bottles. 🎈💫

Proof that balloons aren’t just party decor… they ARE the party. 😉

More beautiful events + creative classes coming to mamas play soon. Stay tuned! 💖

The things we call “ordinary” are often the things we’ll miss the most.

The bedtime stories.
The “Mama, watch me!” for the 100th time.
The messy house.
The slow mornings.
The little arms that still want to be held.

One day, these moments won’t be everyday moments anymore. So today, I’m choosing to see the luxury in them. 🥹

What “ordinary” moment are you feeling extra grateful for today? 👇🏼

If there’s one thing motherhood teaches us, it’s this:

The days feel long…
but the years fly by.

So take the photos.
Join the play.
Get in the frame.
Laugh a little louder.

Because these moments won’t last forever but they’ll always matter.
