One of the coolest chapters in the history of the Rock Café is our connection to Pixar and Cars — and this video tells part of that story! ❤️

When the Pixar crew traveled Route 66 while researching Cars, they stopped right here in Stroud, Oklahoma. What started as a visit to a little roadside café became a friendship and a piece of Pixar history that we’re still incredibly proud of today.

Nearly 100 years after Route 66 was born — and after all the miles, memories, fires, rebuilds and people who have walked through our doors — it’s pretty amazing to see the Rock Café’s story live on in something loved around the world. 🌎

This is Cars Week as Sept 4 it returns to theaters and of course the next day is LMG Day ! This is also the weekend for the awesome debut for LMQ in F1 at Monza! So get ready for a week of fun, exciting tributes, and of course honoring what Pixar has given to the world. A true loving caring and memorable part of our lives by creating this amazing moment in history back in 2006. This has touched millions of lives, made kids around the world happy and then impacted lives now for 20 years. That means those kids that saw it at 1 are now 21. Their entire lives have been touched in such a beautiful way.

We pay tribute to the whole Cars Family. Let's not forget to THANK those who helped bring this to life and for those who are no longer with us that was part of that journey we all owe so much to today. God Bless and have a great Cars week and don't forget to stop and see Cars Land and the end of Route 66! :)
