Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… “plans to give you hope and a future.”

The Israelites were in a difficult season when God gave them this promise. They couldn’t see what was ahead, but God could.

Sometimes we may not understand what God is doing either. We may feel stuck, uncertain, or like our prayers are taking too long. But Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God has not forgotten us.

We may not know the plan, but we can trust the One who does.

Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God

•Belt of Truth: living with honesty and knowing Gods truth. It holds the armor together.

•Breastplate of Righteousness: Guards the heart. Moral character and the righteousness (right doing) of Jesus.

•Shoes of the Gospel of Peace: stands for readiness and stability. Helps believers walk through life sharing the good news.

•Shield of Faith: blocks the arrows of doubt and temptation the enemy throws at you.

•Helmet of Salvation: protects the head and mind from being swayed into temptation, doubts, fear, and ethical compromises.

•Sword of the Spirit: the Word of God. Used to slay spiritual lies.

•Spear of Prayer: lets believers impact people, situations, and spiritual battles from a distance.

The idea of this armor is to not attack, but to stand firm and hold your ground against the enemy. With God on your side, you are covered from head to toe in His armor.
