We are taking cake orders through the end of the year. Here’s what we need to know: First and last name, phone number, email, event date, desired budget, cake flavor, frosting flavor, filling type or flavor, theme and/or colors, and inspiration pics if you have them.
Here’s what you should know: Custom cakes start at $6.50 per serving. To put that in perspective a simple 6“ x 4“ vanilla or almond cake with Swiss meringue buttercream is 12 servings and starts at $78.  Decor, other additional elements and flavors do affect costs. That being said, the more extravagant the cake the more it will cost. Yes, tiered cakes do have an additional cost due to structural needs. Our simple cakes (including sheet cakes) are approximately 1.75 - 2 in tall cake layers typically stacked between lovely layers of Swiss meringue buttercream.
Do understand that our pricing has simply to do with the ingredients, time and techniques that we employ, nothing more. Please be aware that we do not price match or barter. Our price is our price.
When considering budget for events of 25 guest or more keep in mind that a small cake and cupcakes can make quite the presentation and you won’t have to do much in the way of cutting and serving. 12 simple cupcakes is approximately 1/3 the cost of a custom cake. However, 12 custom cupcakes cost about the same as a 12 serving cake sometimes more. Sheet cakes are $4.75 per serving. So a 32 serving, single layer, sheet will cost just south of $150. Why? Think of it this way. A round cake is simply a square cake missing its corners and a rectangle is an elongated square. More mass, more ingredients, more coverage, more cost.
