Built in 1830 as a blacksmith shop, our home has had quite a history. But one thing has remained a constant. It has always been the place where the locals have gathered. Regardless of the stories told or the time in history, we always meet, s

Brewpub – Uber casual, complete with brewing apparatus, popcorn machine and gratis caramel brew aroma. (brewing is just underfoot)

Lounge & Farm Table Room – Centrally located stone hearth fireplace and “U” shaped, copper bar. Edgy decor and modern-rustic chandeliers. Back Yard – Seasonal Patio and Biergarten, “Treehouse” Bar and back yard with games available to play and vegetable garden. Just steps away from Stowe’s famous Recreation Path. A hotspot from the moment the weather warms up until the snow falls. THE FOOD

Comfort, fresh, simple. From Burgers to Brats to Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, we’ve got something for everyone. Just don’t leave without trying our Buttermilk Herb Biscuits or the S’more Pie with homemade marshmallow. We love incorporating our beer into many of our items like in the Helles Lager Onion Tart and in the Oatmeal Raisin Wort Ice Cream Sandwiches with Salted Sticky Toffee Sauce. As proud members or the Vermont Fresh Network, Local First Vermont, Farm Plate & Slow Food, we try to use as much local and regional product as we can, and try to grow as much as we can in our own back yard to use on the menu. Brewmaster, Will Gilson, is an avid gardener and takes care of the veggies for us!
