August 10th we traveled just outside of Winterset, Iowa to the Lone Oaks Farm where we hosted Travel Iowa and the Iowa Tourism Office. The evening started with apps at Speckled Hen Farm and ended with a prairie walk and forage for wild black raspberries as the sun was setting. A true Iowa experience. Thank you to Pete and Luann Gilman along with Kris Miler for opening up your property to us!

August 9th we partnered with Foster SQUAD for a benefit dinner at the beautiful Middlebrook Farmhouse located in Cu***ng, Iowa. Live music with good food and great people! Thank you to everyone that came out to support this charity!

August 6th we traveled outside of Indianola, Iowa to Bochner Farm. Jim and Lori Bochner run a flower farm that’s bursting with life! From the pollinators to hummingbirds it’s truly a magical place. We hosted a private gathering for a financial group from all over the country. I love showing off what Iowa has to offer!

August 4th we traveled to Winterset, Iowa to Pepperharrow Farm. Adam and Jenn specialize in growing all types of flowers but especially lavendar. They put on a demonstration on how to make lavendar essential oils. Each guest was gifted with their very own bottle of the Iowa grown and manufactured ingredient. We used their lavender in a greeting mocktail of citrus, cucumber and lavendar simple syrup. The evening concluded with an amazing sunset, lots of cute animals and full bellies. August 2nd we traveled up to Clarion, Iowa to Grand View Beef. Amanda and Knute Severson have created a true farm to table experience. Dining in the grazing fields on 4 courses of Grand View Beef!
