Summer in Maine this year came in with a bang! It's hot now!! Do you drink hot tea or iced tea in the hot months?

Here is the Rosie Iced Tea recipe and other iced tea recipes below. We get asked a lot for this recipe. Enjoy!!

Rosie Iced Tea:

Overnight method (can only be used to steep tea with no caffeine): Use 1/3 cup Rosie tea and aaa1-gallon warm water in container - add sugar (we usually use 3/4 cup) - stir - put in the fridge overnight. Take out the tea bag - Enjoy!!

Regular method: Boil 1 gallon water - add 1/3 cup Rosie tea and ¾ cup sugar - steep for 15 minutes. Take out tea. Put in fridge until cold.

Backyard Blackberry / Peachy Keen Iced Tea:

Boil 1 gallon water - add 1/3 cup Backyard Blackberry or Peachy Keen tea and sugar (we use 1/4 cup with this one) - steep for 3 minutes only. Take out tea. Put in fridge until cold.

If you over steep a black tea - it will taste bitter. If this happens - just add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda to the tea (just like a good porch ice tea in the south). It will take the bitter out.

Chai Iced Tea:

Boil 1 gallon water - add 1/3 cup Chai tea and sugar (we use 1/4 cup with this one) - steep for 3 minutes only. Take out tea. Put in fridge until cold.

Chai Iced with Milk / Cream – heat milk / cream - add 1/3 cup Chai tea and sugar (we use 1/4 cup with this one) - steep for 3 minutes only. Take out tea. Put in fridge until cold.

You can also do a variation of milk/cream and water – your choice

Mint to Be Iced Tea:

Boil 1 gallon water - add 1/3 cup Mint to Be tea and sugar (we use 1/4 cup with this one) - steep for 3 minutes only. Take out tea. Put in fridge until cold.
