A Small Ask for Our Stone Mountain Village Community
This is something I don’t normally do, but I wanted to reach out and ask for a little support during lunch hours here in Stone Mountain Village.
The restaurants in the Village are fantastic places to meet friends, enjoy a great meal, catch up over coffee, or even open up your laptop and get some work done in a beautiful, sunny atmosphere.
The reality is that there isn’t a lot of daytime industry in the Village, so we’re counting on you to help spread the word to your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors in the surrounding area.
Personally, I’ve always believed in keeping regular hours and putting my foot on the gas. We’re here 7 days a week, 14 shifts a week, serving lunch, brunch, and dinner. In Decatur, our lunch business is strong because we have surrounding businesses that support it. We’d love to build that same energy here.
So what can you do to help?
Tell someone that the Village is a great place to grab lunch after a workout or a walk at the park.
Have your next meeting at a restaurant in the village, no additional charge at the Rose or the Oak for taking up a tables and getting some work done.
Bring your laptop, order an espresso, and enjoy a sunny afternoon while you knock out some emails.
If you’re retired, come enjoy a leisurely lunch and appreciate the slower pace of the Village without the dinner rush.
And don’t forget about brunch on weekends. In my opinion, Saturday brunch is one of the best times to visit, great food, live music, a beautiful atmosphere, and a little more relaxed than the Sunday crowd.
We’re proud to be part of Stone Mountain Village, and we want to see all of the restaurants here thrive.
So please spread the word. Bring a friend. Have lunch with us. Work from the Village. Meet someone for coffee.
Sometimes supporting your local restaurants is as simple as choosing to have lunch here, in your community.
