🌶️🥬 Have you tried our house-made Kimchi?

Kimchi is a spicy, fermented vegetable dish of South Korea. While napa cabbage kimchi is the most famous, there are more than 200 varieties of kimchi, made with different vegetables and seasonings.

Kimchi grew from the Korean tradition of preserving vegetables with salt so there would be food to enjoy through the long, cold winters. Over generations, it became much more than a way to preserve food - it became one of the signature flavors of Korean cuisine.

Our house-made kimchi is prepared with traditional ingredients like chili, garlic, ginger, and fish sauce, with fresh apple added for natural sweetness and flavor. The result is a delicious balance of spicy, tangy, savory, and slightly sweet, with the added benefits of fermentation and probiotics.

And honestly, sometimes nothing is better than a little kimchi with a bowl of warm white rice. 🍚

Our August Special is Broccoli Beef.
The dish grew from a traditional Cantonese stir-fry that paired beef with G*i Lan芥兰, or Chinese broccoli, a leafy green vegetable with tender stems. As Chinese immigrants settled in the United States, Western broccoli - with its familiar florets -became increasingly available in American markets. The broccoli was used in place of G*i Lan, creating the familiar beef and broccoli dish we enjoy today.
